27th March 2005 Surfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: 10 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot clean surf Air Temperature: 8ºC Sea Temperature: 8ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: another early morning session for a few hours before breakfast, a little bigger than yesterday morning but nowhere near as big as yesterday evening. The waves were peeling perfectly again though and I had some nice long rides with the head high walls holding up for what seemed like ages. Loads of times it looked as though the whole lot would close out on my as the lip was feathering for miles in front of me, but everytime I managed to just crouch below the lip and charge down along the wall and make the section. harvey joined me a little later as it began to drop off. He then stayed out for a few hours himself. Should be 5 stars really as it doesn't get much better as Ynyslas, but last night was quite a bit bigger so only 4. |
